AIR TEAM Service offers comprehensive Garmin Avionics Pilot Training to ensure pilots are fully equipped to operate and maximise the potential of their Garmin avionics systems. Training begins with the Pilot Guides and instructional resources that accompany each system, complemented by a range of eLearning options and instructor-led classes tailored to individual needs. Garmin additionally shares short videos, tips, and best practices through its aviation channels.
Courses are delivered by technicians who install and flight-test the same systems daily — practical knowledge from the hangar, not generic classroom theory.
Course options
Basic Training — 4 hours
Designed to give pilots a fundamental understanding of Garmin Avionics Systems, this session builds essential skills for safe and efficient cockpit management — hands-on experience with core features such as flight planning, navigation, communication, and essential autopilot functionality. By the end of the session, participants feel confident using their Garmin avionics for everyday flight operations. Ideal for pilots new to Garmin avionics or those seeking a refresher to solidify foundational skills.
Pro Training — 8 hours
An in-depth exploration of Garmin Avionics Systems, tailored for pilots looking to maximise their expertise and efficiency. This comprehensive session dives into advanced features and complex operations, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to handle diverse flight scenarios with confidence — advanced autopilot modes, system integration, and abnormal procedures.
Custom sessions
Tailored training on your specific installed configuration — G3X Touch, GTN 650Xi/750Xi, GFC 500/600, GI 275. Delivered at Kunovice or by arrangement at your base.
